Eskimo ball.jpg
Aqsraq is the Inupiaq word for Eskimo ball. It was mainly used in a game in which men played against women. The actual ball is covered with seal skin and decorated with traditional bead work. The fluffy corners are made of polar bear fur. The ball itself was made in 2002 by a villager from Gambell.
