PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES:

File:ArtInterpretation.doc Display different types of art from various cultures. Written explanation of what the art represents.

The student needs to explore the field of art critics. The student needs to look at 10 different pieces of artwork. These pieces of artwork should be examples from outside the classroom, (non-student work). Examples: art books, Internet, local artisan, etc. After looking at each piece of artwork an evaluation of each piece of work needs to be written by the student. Use the information that was found during the art critic exploration. The student will write an evaluation of another student’s artwork. The evaluation needs to be written in a respectful manner and as detailed as possible.
