Educational Technology Department Overview
The BSSD Educational Technology Department overseas a wide range of programs and services which support the functioning of the Bering Strait School District.
The common term used to describe us is "Ed Tech", and we are managed under the umbrella of the Curriculum & Instruction Department. Our responsibilities also require us to support virtually every other department, however, and we supervise the Library & Media Services section.
The core focus of Ed Tech in on helping integrating and streamlining various technologies for other parts of the organization so that their missions can be accomplished.
