MODIFIED STANDARD:

Explains what is learned from art and the artistic process as it applies to daily life, such as: the role of cooperation, communication, collaboration, consensus, risk taking, and tenacity.

STANDARD UNPACKED:

KNOW To know the artistic process

Know the terms:

Inspiration is a sudden brilliant, creative, or timely idea.

Role of cooperation: the process of working together to the same end

Communication:

Collaboration: the action of working with someone to produce or create something

Consensus: general agreement

Risk Taking: the possibility that something unpleasant or unwelcome will happen

Production of art.

Reflection of art: what went well, what didn't go well, what would you do different or improve

on the next art experience.

Expectations and activities may look different in each village. ABLE TO DO

To recognize that people connect many aspects of life through the arts. To demonstrate inspiration, cooperation, communication, consensus, risk taking, tenacity and reflection while creating their own art.

Examples: rebuilding a snow machine, preparing food, painting, dance, taking photos, and/or

creating music.
