Kakisvik is the Yupik word for pincushion. The pincushion is used to hold pins. The Kakisvik was made with calfskin, beaver, felt and the inside is stuffed with cotton. It was made in the year of 2005 by Luci Washington. Luci wanted a traditional looking pincushion, so she used a boot pattern.
