Vision

BSSD Vision The Bering Strait School District will educate our children to become self-sufficient and contributing citizens through quality programs that reflect our children's heritage.

Martin L. Olson Staff Vision The vision of Martin L. Olson School is to provide a safe, positive, and inviting learning environment. Students will be given opportunities to learn, practice, and acquire skills needed to attain future goals. Community and parental involvement will be encouraged to help students become successful members of our society. March 2009

Martin L. Olson Student Vision Our Vision of a Perfect Golovin School would include:

• everyone participating
• teamwork
• confidence is built
• practice time for learning
• sports
• communicating with one another
• be responsible (no horsing around, homework done, working without talking about non school stuff)
• learning from mistakes
• elders are involved in teaching and story telling
• learning how to survive
