You will need: One piece of 12x24 construction paper

Your packet must have:

___Cover: Fold a piece of construction paper in half, this will be the cover for your packet.

The front should have:

___ Couplets. Write 7. Pick your favorite 4 to copy onto nice paper.

(A pair of lines that rhyme. Couplets may be part of a longer poem) Oak 421; couplet 850,

___ Quatrains. Write five for practice. Pick your favorite 2 to copy onto nice paper.

(A four line rhyme. The rhyme scheme may be AABB, ABAB, ABCB, or ABBA Quatrains are often combined to form longer poems) Oak 421
